While I’m not from America, I have a deep love for the rough and rugged history of how this beautiful country formed on its own, and the amazing history that we in the hobby can search for and dig up. To hold something a settler once held or a gun slinger (my wishful thinking) dropped would be an amazing feeling!
I love watching these guys, the group friend feel is definitely there, and I think their conversations are just as fun as watching their videos.
Ah to find something as grand!! A lot of people say Florida is the place to go for good treasure, but I think you have the chance to find it anywhere… people dragged their most treasured belongings with them wherever they went more so during the push out west so there is still hope!
I haven’t had the chance to try magnet fishing yet, but I will be buying a kit once I have the money to spare. I can only imagine that guys emotions when he pulled the gun out of the water up in Canada.
I love reading articles as much as watching videos on detecting, thought I’d throw this one up as i can relate to the can, and trash finds mixed in with the good stuff.
I stumbled on this article totally by accident while researching the nighthawk stuff, It’s a very interesting read… long but very insightful. It makes me wonder how far away is America in regards to enacting similar laws if even possible… still, makes you think.
